Cleveland rolled aluminium firm Aleris International, Inc. announced yesterday that it is the recipient of Airbus SE’s “Industrial Performance” award for 2018.
The award, which was given in recognition of Aleris’ outstanding performance in the field of Aerostructures and Materials, highlighted the firm’s record for delivery of quality products and for the close and robust partnership the two firms have forged over the years.
Sean Stack, Chairman and CEO of Aleris, expressed the firm’s gratitude for being recognized by Airbus.

Aleris has been a long-time supplier of aluminium plates, sheets, and cut shapes to the European aerospace titan. In its strategic partnership, the two firms have accomplished several major achievements, including the commencement of the delivery of wing skins and the commissioning of Aleris’ Zhenjiang, China manufacturing works.
