Aluminium fence, gate, and railing manufacturer Ideal Aluminum Products’s co-owner Doug Brady is among the finalists for Florida’s Entrepreneur Of The Year 2017 Award.
This is the thirty-first iteration of the award that was created by Ernst & Young LLP. The award is meant to recognize individuals who stand out in the community for individual achievements in innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. A panel of independent judges selected the finalists from among whom the recipient will be chosen at a celebration late next month.
“I am so very honored to be among Florida’s top entrepreneurs,” said Brady. “This is a great group of people and companies. But I am not here alone. I have the support of all of the great people of Ideal Aluminum every day who make this one of the absolute best companies around.”
“No one deserves this recognition more than Doug,” opined Brady’s co-owner, Michael Siegel. “He works tirelessly, thinks five steps ahead, and is an inspiration to our people. There is hardly anything better than owning a business with your best friend, especially when he has the acumen of Doug.”
Should Brady be chosen as Florida’s top entrepreneur next month, he will be eligible for national honors, which will be awarded in Palm Springs at a gala in November. Joining him for consideration will be entrepreneurs from over 145 cities in sixty countries around the world. The awards are the crown jewel of the Strategic Growth Forum, which is a summit involving some of America’s most significant high-growth, market-leading companies.
In addition to sponsorship and support by E&Y, the awards are nationally sponsored by SAP America, Merrill Corporation, and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
